To help you have a safe and fun Halloween season, here are some top tips to help prevent nightmares:
Light up the night! Decorate costumes and bags with reflective material and use glow sticks or flashlights to increase visibility.
Young children should not trick-or-treat without adult supervision. And remember to use sidewalks, stick to familiar areas that are well lit and trick-or-treat in groups.
Are you looking to trip…or treat? When selecting a costume make sure it’s the right size to help prevent trips and falls.
Look both ways before crossing the street, and make sure eyeholes in costume masks are wide enough to see and are well ventilated.
Drivers, slow down and be on the lookout for ghouls, goblins and zombies crawling the streets in search of sweets.
Don’t forget to check your kid’s sweets to make sure they are safe to eat.
