WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Garret Graves, the Ranking Member of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Aviation, announced Louis Armstrong New Orleans International (MSY) and False River Regional will be receiving $3,621,961 and $1,223,000 respectively. The funds will be awarded from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and individual breakdowns can be found below:
“These grants will help MSY and False River Regional as they keep working to serve passengers and attract visitors to Louisiana. The grants are crucial for tourism, the travel experience, and getting our economy back on track. I am looking forward to seeing them put these funds to use and creating an even safer, efficient, and enjoyable travel experience,” Graves said.

Since being named the top Republican on the Aviation Subcommittee in January 2019, Graves has helped secure nearly $90 million in federal funding for MSY.
