Middleburg Institute to Host Grassroots Silver Soiree and ViewPoint Policy Simulation

BATON ROUGE, LA — The Middleburg Institute announces its Grassroots Silver Soiree and ViewPoint Policy Simulation, an event dedicated to supporting low-income Louisiana families. Set in Baton Rouge on April 12, 2024, at the Embassy Suites Hotel at 8:30 am. This gathering aims to empower advocates committed to economic security and financial stability in low-income communities.

Funded in part by Share Our Strength, the event showcases the 10 City Child Tax Credit Campaign, highlighting efforts to uplift families in need.

Attendees, including grassroots advocates, community leaders, and policymakers, will engage in an interactive policy simulator crafted by Dr. Elizabeth Gerber of the University of Michigan. Through firsthand exploration of policy-making intricacies, participants will gain insights into effective advocacy strategies.

Renowned policy impact and grassroots advocacy experts from The Middleburg Institute will share best practices, empowering attendees to amplify their advocacy efforts.
